Swimming!

Last Saturday and Sunday we went to one of the city pools. Addi enjoys playing in the area set up for kids, and Scott and I enjoy hanging out and of course the water slide. We also spent time in the big pool so that Addi could try out her puddle jumper in deeper water. She enjoyed it although when she realized we weren't holding her she got scared and upset. We did get her to kick and practice moving her arms like she was swimming. She will not go into the playground area of the activity pool except for one small are with small water spouts (pictured below). She prefers to sit in the 6-inch water and splash and lay on her stomach and "swim" and blow bubbles in the water. She loves rinsing off in the outside pool shower afterward, which doesn't make much sense because she doesn't like the other water falling on her head, but we go with it. We had fun and hopefully will go again this weekend.
